Section 508 Accessibility Initiative
In 1998, Congress amended the Rehabilitation Act and strengthened provisions covering access to information in the Federal sector for people with disabilities. As amended, Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act requires access to the Federal government's electronic and information technology. The law applies to all Federal agencies when they develop, procure, maintain, or use electronic and information technology. Federal agencies must ensure that this technology is accessible to employees and the public.
If you find a problem that prevents access, please contact us by sending an e-mail to the Public Affairs Office.

In the United States, Force Protection Condition (FPCON) is a terrorist threat system overseen by the Department of Defense. In line with this system, five FPCONs are utilized to dictate operations and activities at APG. FPCON descriptions follow:
FPCON NORMAL: A situation with no current terrorist activity.
FPCON ALPHA: A situation where there is a small and general terrorist activity that is not predictable. APG personnel are informed that there is a possible threat and standard security procedure reviews are conducted.
FPCON BRAVO: A situation with somewhat predictable terrorist threat. Security measures taken by APG Security Personnel may affect the APG workforce, population, and, the general public.
FPCON CHARLIE: A situation resulting from an incident that has occurred or when intelligence reports that there is terrorist activity imminent.
FPCON DELTA: A situation when a terrorist attack is taking place or has just occurred. This FPCON usually occurs when APG is most vulnerable or has been attacked.
